Unknown program disappears after running Ace Utililities

In my version of WinXP., in the Start menu., there is a program or component (hide/expand) that shows what programs I use most frequently and hides the rest. When running Ace Utilities this program or component that Hides/Expands the Start menu disappears. I have tried to find out what it is so that I can put it on the ignore list. Im not having much luck with that

This happened due to clearing the Start Menu history.

To disable this:

Go to Ace Utilities -> Erase History. Click on the "Start Menu" sub-section.

Uncheck "Delete Start Menu Order History".
Uncheck "Remove all Start Menu click history".

Click 'Close'.

Note: The Start Menu will need some time to "learn" the programs you use often. Till then it won't show any personalisation
