I just upgraded to 4.2 and when I put it Ace on my objectdock I see this nice new icon but on my desktop I still have that same old ugly one.
Does Ace 4.2 have a new icon and how can I get it on my desktop and get rid of the old style one?
Thanks.

Is your desktop in medium icons view ?
If icon size is small, the old icon will be shown.
Also, try deleting that icon and creating a new icon.

Tried this and the old icon is the only one that comes back.
It's a mystery.
I sure like that new icon and wish I could get it to show on my desktop.
Maybe I should uninstall it and download and reinstall it again? Just did this with No luck
Any other ideas?
Thanks.

Can anyone confirm that this new icon shows up as a desktop icon?

As mentioned in one of the previous posts, you can only see the new icon when the desktop is set to show icons in 'Large Icons' mode (Right-click on Desktop -> View -> Large Icons).
If it is not working, you can also try the method shown here:
