I just up graded to the 64 bit version.
On the first run noticed that all my .asv files (backups from a CAD program I use) were slated to be deleted.
I added the *.asv to the list but AU still selects the files.
How can I remedy this? I don't want to uncheck all the files after each run.

Go to Ace Utilities > Options > Ignore List Editor.
Choose 'Remove junk files' from the 'select tool' list.
Click 'Add'.
Type *.asv and click 'Save'.
Click 'OK' to close the Options.

If every thing went OK, *.asv should be in the 'ignore list'.


Run the scan again.

It took several attempts before I saw the save button in the upper right hand corner of the ignore list editor, but it worked.
