Problem using "advanced" feature

when i try to use a feature in registered ver 2.2 of au in the "options" of the registry cleaner referred to as "advanced" a little box pops up and says"this option is for advanced/expert users only" and does not allow me to even see the content of the feature....why is this happening and what can i do to access this feature?...thank you

When you first installed Ace Utilities it asked you about this "Expert" mode and you didn't choose it, so that's why you can't access it. Try un-installing the program and re-installing it and choose to the "Expert" mode. See if this will work. :wink:

hi,

There is an easy way.

From the 'Menu' of the main screen, click 'configuration wizard'. Click 'Next' until you see the 'turn on expert mode' option. Check mark it, click 'Next' once more and then close it.

thanx for your quick reply, cal....actually after i sent this post i discovered that the "expert" mode can be set in the "configuration wizard" from the main menu...no need to uninstall.....thanx again....

Do we need to be login as Admin(on Windows) for the advanced to work?

you have to be the admin to run AU.
