In Autostart Manager...Ace Optimizer Utilities v.3.0.0.4038

Under the Users drop-dowm menu on Auto-start Manager I see three entries..."Aaron Hollander" (me), "Administrator" (also me), and a third with a bunch of strange characters. They seem to be different each time I login.

Some of the characters are letters (usually with strange dots or circles above them), some blocks, and lines.

It is the first user listed and I see different entries for it when it is selected.

Any ideas what this is :?:

The "Users" drop down list, as its name suggest, shows the list of user accounts in your Windows XP PC.

Try this method:
Go to the 'Control Panel' -> 'Administrative Tools'. Double-click 'Computer Management'. Go to 'Local Users and Groups' -> 'Users'. All the user accounts in your XP system will be listed there. Check there. You can delete the troublesome account from here if you are sure that it is not in use.

Hi Aneesh...thank you for the reply. :)

I see no such listing in the 'Computer Management" window.

However, I did pull up my 'User Accounts' in CP and I see me (as the Computer administrator), Guest (off) and 'SQLDebugger' (Limited account Password protected).

Would you say that is it?

It could possibly be a minor bug in the Auto-Start Manager. We'll look into it. Meanwhile you can use auto-start manager without any problems.
