* Go to Ace Utilities -> Erase History -> Internet Explorer/MSN.
* Select 'Clear Typed URLs of Address Bar'; Click 'Execute Now'.

You may have to restart Windows after this.

Aneesh,

I did what you said in your message and restarted.

It removed some of the things in the address bar drop down, but not all of the items.

Now what do you sugguest?

Dennis

The site(s) marked using the 'Address bar editor' won't be deleted when you clear the Internet Explorer history.

* Ace Utilities -> Erase History -> Internet Explorer/MSN
* Click Address Bar Editor and check if you have 'protected' those sites which are not being removed while clearing history.

I just checked. I don't have anything saved in the address bar editor.

I can email you a copy of the print screen and I can show you what I am talking about.

What is your email address?
Sincerely,
Dennis

You can email the details to support {at} acelogix {dot} com.

Note: To completely erase the Internet Explorer history details, you have to apply:

* Delete locked URL cache files (index.dat)
* Clear Typed URLs of Address bar
* Clear browser history
* Delete cache
* Delete cookies

and restart Windows.
