How to skip Desktop.ini in AU?

Post by jiu2k » Thu Dec 13, 2007 5:57 pm

Hi, I have tried Ace Utilitites and found it one of Registry cleaning program in the world. But I still have one annoying problem, each time after I finished cleaning and reboot Windows, all my folders's setting will turn back to its default view. I have searched the internet and learned that the file desktop.ini keeps these settings and it was the only one file always left in Recycle bin even my setting to permanently delete all files in AU.

Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

This could happen if you have enabled the following setting in the "Erase Your History" tool:

'Erase Your History -> Windows -> Erase Folder Streams in the Windows Registry'
