Does Faststone viewer (v2.5) has a image history ? It keeps an image database file. If you delete it, the program recreates it the next time it starts.

I took a quick look at this program you mentioned. It seems it is not creating any recent file list, atleast not in the usual locations. Then there is one '.db' file which the program creates when you use it, typically the first time after the installation. It resides in your 'Application data' folder.

A typical path in Windows XP will be :

"Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application data\FastStone\FSIV", where <user name> is the username your Windows XP login name.

Inside this 'FSIV' folder, the FastStone creates a few files including this '.db' file. If you delete this one, then the program will automatically create another one the next time you start it.
