The download link is screwed up. It downloads aceutils.exe V5.5.0.544

1. Thanks for fixing the beta download link.

2. There appears to be a minor bug in the message on bottom bar of the registry cleaner after completing a thorough registry scan and fix. See the attached picture.

Why not have AU include a shortcut link to the Registry Backup and Restore option (regbak.exe) in the list of utilities available in AU ?? See attached picture.

I see the V5.5 license key does not work for V5.6 beta. Is there going to be a license fee charge to get the proper license for V5.6 upgrade?

This is on Windows 8.1.1 x64 Professional with Internet Explorer as the default and only browser on the system. In the Auto Start Manager, Internet Explorer BHOs are not displaying the proper status. They all show enabled whereas some are disabled.

Does this fix this issue, or do users still have to add it to their ignore list manually?:

Hello,
1- I would like to know if, in Erase Your History/Misc Items, the Temporary Files ítem exclude the files that are in the Ignore List Editor/Remove Junk Files. Because I do not know if checking the ítem Temporary Files that excluded files will be deleted too.

2- On the other hand, In Menu/I like Ace Utilities... the link "Vote" (CNet) does not function.

3- Finally, can you explain how is the new license system? This AU beta version seems to be working fine without the license renewing.

Thanks

Hi,
AU 5.6 beta does not open from a standar user account.
The warning about the recommendation to use the program in an administrator account and the license dialog box appear. But AU never opens after click OK in the license dialog box.

FAM07, Temporary Files should not even be shown in the Misc section, which OS did you test ? Win8.1? It does not ignore any files.

If you got a key from us recently, it should not ask for renewal. You get 18 months of upgrades. You can continue to use the key for ever on the last update, it will not expire. A renewal is needed only if you wish to install an update released after 18 months. With this change, we are planning to release an update every 2-3 month.

hari,
Sometimes the item Temporary Files appears, sometimes it does not appear. It occurred with the last stable version of AU (not beta) and the last beta version, on Win 8.1 Pro 64-bit. It seem to be that this issue does not occur in Win 7.
