Another suggestion

A feature to "Run before..." and "Run after..." cleanup a user configured program / script.
That would be an extremely useful feature, especially if that was implemented in Maintenance Wizard.

Just think the posibilities:

Execute some kind of cleanup scripts before or after AU
Run a defragmenter after AU
Execute other admin tools
etc...

I hope you like the idea.

Inray,

I Like the idea, but would n't that be a lot of work ?

You can run all these with a vbscript or batch file. Also, AU can be run from a command line.

Hari,
Of course that can be done using a command line script, actually this is what I I'm doing so far. Just thought that would be helpful if any external tools/scripts could be loaded before and after cleanup, from inside AU.

It is not that difficult to be implemented, except the part of error trapping, I know...
Anyway, it's just an idea :)

Inray,

Download http://www.acelogix.com/downloads/au_beta.exe

Go to Options > regcleaner > Ignore list Manager.
Uncheck 'use ignorelist intelligently'

Hari.

I've installed the beta (2.6.0.4018) and unchecked 'use ignorelist intelligently' but I see no difference at'all. Maybe I missed something...
What exactly is this option for?

sorry, my mistake.

I was referring to the problem of the regcleaner not ignoring all the entries. Now it will, with this option turned off.

Hmm, probably something is still missing Hari.
Even with this option unchecked, many excluded entries are still detected as invalid.
For example, AU finds the following Progids althought I have "excluded always" them. That happens with other keys too.

Inray, can you please post the contents of user.ini (ignore list) ? I would like to see the entries in it.

Great !
I assume that this fix isn't included in latest beta

Correction: It works ! I had to re-download beta.
