Assigning Drive(s)

How/Can I assign which drives I want to apply applications to?

For instance, I periodically attach an outside hard drive for backup purposes. After I do my updates I detach outside hard drive from my computer till needed again.

I periodically would like to apply cleanup applications to this outside drive. Am I missing something? Where can I see WHICH drive is using Ace Utilities? In my mind it should be visible to choose which drive, just like it is when you 'Wipe Deleted File Data' (see attached pic).

When you open the program, it should show somewhere as to WHICH drive the app is applied to OR is it set up to automatically apply to ALL drives hooked up to the computer simultaneously!?
