Re: Ace Utilities v5.6 beta
This is on Windows 8.1.1 x64 Professional with Internet Explorer as the default and only browser on the system. In the Auto Start Manager, Internet Explorer BHOs are not displaying the proper status. They all show enabled whereas some are disabled.

Re: Ace Utilities v5.6 beta
I see the V5.5 license key does not work for V5.6 beta. Is there going to be a license fee charge to get the proper license for V5.6 upgrade?

Re: Ace Utilities v5.6 beta
Why not have AU include a shortcut link to the Registry Backup and Restore option (regbak.exe) in the list of utilities available in AU ?? See attached picture.

Re: Ace Utilities v5.6 beta
1. Thanks for fixing the beta download link.
2. There appears to be a minor bug in the message on bottom bar of the registry cleaner after completing a thorough registry scan and fix. See the attached picture.

Re: Registry Backup and Restore (RegBak) Beta 1.5
I notice if a user attempts to run regbak.exe on a 64-bit system, regbak.exe issues a message to "Please run the 64-bit version of this program".
Why not just code regbak.exe to start the 64-bit version regbak64.exe automatically, shut down regbak.exe, and eliminate the message all together?

Re: Registry Backup and Restore (RegBak) Beta 1.5
Looking good. The only thing I suggest is that the time format should display a colon ( : ) between the hour and minute instead of a hyphen.

Yep, that worked. Thanks!hari wrote:Hi
You have to 'unblock' the chm file From 'Properties'.
Hopefully the manual "unblock" will not be necessary in the final release, eh?

Re: Registry Backup and Restore (RegBak) Beta
Installed on Windows 8.1.1 x64 Professional system. Beta 1 does not remember all the selected hive settings between runs. Is this feature going to be a separate feature to be downloaded separately for future versions of AU ? If so, it should have an installer/uninstaller so that it doesn't look like...
