Is there any possiibility that the reg cleaner would remove any files that would effect the uninstall process of Visual Studio 2005? I receive msgs. saying that the "install order cannot be validated".

does anyone know of any problems when running junk file remover that woul d cause "mysql" to fail to start? I ran it this am and had to restore the system to get mysql to start. i think it was related to a file that Adobe Reader put in 'Temp' folder. i deleted it and the problem seems to have disappeared. i will continue to watch it for awhile.

i understand what you are saying, but the no. of files was about 141, and i don't think all of those would be created by Windows, etc. while running the scan. maybe something in the include file is missing or etc. i will watch for awhile and see what develops.

when i useds the junk file remover today, it finds the same files over and over again even tho i delete them. i ran about 6 times, deleted the files, and each time they reappear when doing a scan again. any ideas?

While running T&T this evening the app caused Windows to abort. Looked in the Event viewer and message was as follows:

I had to re-install Windows due to a Disk crash and lost all my data, and my bkups are corrupted. Anyway, how do I download Ace Utilities and re-register again? I have my reg. code.

I just installed a new external hard drive (E:\) and noticed when doing scans for Junk Files the following: when the scan screen appears, both drives show as being selectable, but when I de-select C: and only want to scan E:, both drives are scanned anyway. I have already uninstalled RealPlayer and ran Ace reg clean to get rid of all RP entries. I am monitoring the event viewer for any further problems.
