If development is stalled, I'd like a license code to replace mine. I've bought the product before and renewed it in the past, but paying for a dead project makes me more inclined to migrate.

I tried e-mailing but the person thought that I was attempting to upgrade to the 64 bit version.

That upgrade was already handled. I need a new license key, mine does not work with the new version even though it was lifetime.

Seems to be fixed, any idea what the technical issue was?

Ace Utilities 6.3.0 RC1 seems to work.

No, it still lists version 6.2, not 6.2.1. The newest release notes still list Changes in v6.2.0 - Jul 09, 2016.

Possible causes:

1. Filename too long to be recognized by Windows.
2. Japanese characters.
3. File index error.

Error only occurs when attempting to include both drives in one scan. I can scan them on their own, but this is not helpful since my files are spread across storage devices.

There was a similar issue in the 'Find Duplicate Files' tool where the process would crash during the scanning phase. This was corrected in v5.2.
