I'd just like my account deleted, but I’m getting no response to PMs to @aneesh and @hari.
How is this site even still running? Someone must be paying the web server bill. Either respond to PMs or shut the site down already!

Re: I hope you are not out of business?
I think we're just genuinely concerned about the future of Ace Utilities. When there are only one or two updates per year, we wonder what the future holds? CCLeaner has monthly updates and they're already starting to support Windows 8! While CCleaner doesn't have all the functionality as AU, the fac...

Any updates on the horizon?
It's been quite a while since the last update so I was wondering if there's anything in the works? While I don't have any specific additions off the top of my head, I also use CCleaner and they post monthly updates with a host of bug fixes and additions. It would be nice if AU had regular updates as...

Re: Feature request: Compact Firefox/Chrome SQLite databases
I noticed the new option to compact the Firefox databases, but not Chrome. Does that means it doesn't compact the Chrome databases or just that there's no option to turn it off?

Suggestion: Support Windows 7 "Jump Lists"
Just thought it would be a nice addition if Ace Utilities supported Windows 7 Jump Lists so you can launch an individual utility (Remove Junk Files, Clean Registry, etc.) right off the jump list menu. Jump List overview: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/features/jump-lists.aspx Windows 7 T...

Next update of Ace Utilities?
It's been a while since the last update so I was just curious if there were any updates on the horizon? I'm not really looking for anything specific other than keeping up with new/updated programs and Windows 7 features.
The product has been great, just wondering if it'll continue on!

Another problem with running as standard windows user
I'm logged into Windows 7 with a standard user account (not administrator) and then run Ace Utilities using the " Run as Administrator " command. This works for most utilities, but the problem is, Cookie Manager is empty, since I don't run my browsers as Administrator. If I want to clean my cookies ...

Secure Erase doesn't work with elevated Admin credentials
I've started to follow the security principle of least privilege, so I made my daily Windows 7 login account, a standard user (as opposed to administrator). So far the rest of Ace Utilities runs fine, as I use "Run as Administrator" when I launch AU from the Start menu (although I didn't like the fa...

Feature request: Compact Firefox/Chrome SQLite databases
Just a feature request to compact the SQLite databases used by Chrome and Firefox which store user history, bookmarks, etc. I noticed CCleaner recently added this and was wondering if you had thought of it. Supposedly it can speed up those browsers (I haven't done benchmarks myself). Anyway, I'm a l...

Re: Can't launch Cookie Manager with 5.1 on Win 7 RTM
I hate it when that happens! ;-) But it does consistently repro for me. I did some more experimentation and it also crashes (stops responding) when clearing history. Through the process of elimination I narrowed it down to the Delete cookies (use Cookie Manager to protect cookies) on the Internet Ex...

Can't launch Cookie Manager with 5.1 on Win 7 RTM
I've been a longtime user of Ace Utilities and version 5.0 worked fine on Win 7 RC 64-bit Enterprise. I just installed Windows 7 RTM 64-bit Enterprise and then installed Ace Utilities 5. 1 . Most of the utilities seem to work, but clicking on the Cookie Manager... button in the Erase Your History to...

Couple registry keys to ignore for Microsoft Intellitype
I just discovered that cleaning these two registry keys will corrupt the installation of Microsoft Intellitype 6.3 keyboard software ( http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/download/download.aspx?category=MK ): HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Prod...

Integration between AU and RegCompactor broken after updates
I just updated to Ace Utilities 4.2 then updated to latest Defrag & Compactor (version 1.4) using the special download link for owners of Ace Utilities. They both run fine when launched from the Start menu, but when I try to launch Defrag & Compactor from within Ace Utilities I get an error dialog: ...
