How about an option to delete files in designated folders where the folder was created or modified before a given date or more than a given number of days ago. Thus it would be possible to "clear out" old files automatically. Ideally the process should be available under scheduled system maintenance.
Another option would be to delete the oldest files in a folder so as to reduce the folders size to a given limit ( i.e. so you can keep an archive folder to a 50GB limit by deleting the old files, so ensuring there is room for more recent backups).
My problem is that I have software which automaitically backs up my files, but regularly runs out of space. It would be ideal if I could automatically clear out the old stuff to ensure back ups of recent stuff is not missed.
